The original Tin of Sardines can be found on Durham’s Elvet Bridge and has a massive collection of Gins & Mixers from across the globe. The smallest gin bar in Durham – and probably the world – sets the standard for what a gin bar should embody. Home-grown herbs and botanicals are used to garnish drinks, with in-house Ginologists on hand to find you your perfect gin and mixer combo!

Tin of Sardines Roker is on Roker Seafront in Sunderland – overlooking Roker Pier. This stylish bar and terrace – which has unrivalled views of the sea – also has a huge selection of different gins; eco-friendly wines and plenty of other drinks. It offers a brunch menu 7 days a week. 

Our Ginologists

Our Ginologists are experts in mixing, muddling, shaking and stirring. They’re top bartenders and they know botanicals. Just like Michelin-star chefs create art on a plate with the best ingredients, our Ginologists understand flavour combinations and can take you on a taste bud tantalising journey.
