Welcome to The Tin of Sardines Gin Bars each serving a huge selection of gins and unusual tonics – from around the world – in stunning locations. Tin of Sardines Durham is quite possibly the world’s smallest gin bar, and is situated on the cobbled streets of Elvet Bridge, in Durham City – overlooking the River Wear. Our latest edition to the Tins family is Tin of Sardines Roker, in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. A striking bar and kitchen – serving brunch 7 days a week. It also features a sun-drenched terrace overlooking the sea, which is covered up during the autumn and winter, so visitors can still enjoy the amazing view.

Amazing views of Roker beach from the terrace area - we could have sat here all night. Good selection of breakfast, brunch and sharing boards and the gin, wow, there are so many wonderful choices.
Tin of Sardines, Durham
For the 'world's smallest gin bar' they don't half manage to get some gins stocked in this place. There are so many to choose from - as well as plenty other drinks - and the team are all super knowledgeable, too.
Tin of sardines, Poole Quay
A wonderful bar where you can while away the evening trying lots of different gins and cocktails. Great staff, who know their stuff.
